Lutheran and Episcopal Campus Ministry at UMBC

Please join us for a home-cooked meal and an introduction to Shane Claiborne’s work, The Irresistible Revolution: Living as an Ordinary Radical.  We’ll meet from 5:30-7:30pm in the MOSAIC Center (Commons, 2nd floor).  No pre-reading is required, and everyone is welcome.   If you can’t stay for the whole time, come late or leave early as your schedule allows.

Pastor Laura and Mary Beth will be staffing the LECM table in the Quad – stop by and say hi, sign up to receive email updates, and share your ideas and interests for the coming year!

Everyone is invited to the Interfaith Center tonight from 5-7 pm.

LECM will join the Newman Club @ 5:30 in the Interfaith Center for a beef and cabbage dinner in honor of St.Patrick’s Day to be followed by a presentation on Taize by Duffy Laws and Mary Wagner.

LECM is organizing a visit to MCI Jessup on either April 3rd or April 24th. We will go on ONE of these Friday evenings (whichever accomodates the most students’ schedules). The deadline to rsvp for the 3rd is March 18th, and for April 24th, we must have your name by April 8th. The Cathedral of the Incarnation (thecathedral.ang-md.org) will have its labyrinth available on Tuesdays from 1:30 to 7 pm and on Thursdays from 1:30 to 5:30 pm, and times every day during Holy Week. Contact us if you’re interested and would like a ride.

Everyone is invited on Tuesday, February 24, from 7-9 pm @ the Interfaith Center for pancakes and games night. Come and get your Mardi Gras beads!!! RSVP appreciated but not required.
